What a packed week it has been leading to another packed weekend for us. Jon is out of town for the church's annual Men's Retreat Summit. This leaves me to run around like a chicken with my head cut off! Ella has her recital tomorrow and Coby has a game. And then on Sunday we are going to The Yard for Little League Day. Jon and I missed this last year because we were here. I'm looking forward to it and Jon is leaving his Summit early to be there as well. My guess is that it will be organized chaos!

Jon found out yesterday that he has been given a promotion. I'm so proud of him! He has worked very hard and deserves this very much.

No bites on the house at all. The word on the street is that anything over $350K is not moving. That would be us :-(

Oh well...we have more big plans for this house that will be put into action the week the kids and I are gone in July. By then we will know what's going on. Our new neighbor is moving in here shortly. He settled yesterday. He is newly divorced (as of yesterday as well!) and has an 8 year old son that will be with him Thur-Sun. Very cool. It will be neat if he and Coby hit it off.

Have a great weekend everyone and don't forget to go vote for my eyes! The competition is getting bigger and they have taken away our view of the vote count. If you have access to another computer go vote from there as well!!

A think Syesya is gone and David Cook is going to win. Just look at what he did last night! Three different songs and he did well on all of them.

And then there was David Arch who tried something different than a ballad and went down in flames (IMHO).

Anyone else?!??!

Okay, I've entered a local contest to try to win Lasik on my eyes. All I need to do to win (yeah...all I need... lol..)is to have the most votes on my eyes. So, spread the word!! I think you're only allowed one vote total per person, but if you find you can go on everyday and do it, please let me know!!

Happy Mother's Day!

I hope all the moms out there enjoy their day! Coby was asking me when "kids day" was and I told him every other day of the year...

Anyway, here's a mother's day story/announcement for you:

Congrats to her, but that is sooo not for me! Two is enough, thanks!

Yesterday was very busy as we woke up and went to Ella's dress rehearsal for her recital next Saturday (that Jon will conveniently miss!). Here she is in her costume (pardon the background!) and I've also added a pic of the whole class:

They look so cute in their costumes!

Anyway, we had to leave early from that to head up to PA for a roller skating party for Ella's friend Jenna (here mom's blog is here!). She did okay on the skates but I could tell she was tired. She kept crying when she fell. Here is a happy moment:

We then had to leave that event early to head to church because I was singing the special for the baby dedication. We got home very tired from our long day.

So, today we were working on a project for mothers day for Ella's grandmom (Jon's mom). She had been given a whole bunch of stickers from Sue and wanted to use some for this book she was making. But, before she could use any of them she had to "orgsganize" them:

That's my girl......
